The Metro Districts would be a good platform for team play. Imagine
teams of 4 representing their areas.. top four rated players being that
District's A Team. Each District could enter a B Team and so on. Each
year we could have a US Team Olympiad.
I think it would be interesting to see matches among A Teams such as
New York vs Los Angeles, Chicago vs Philadelphia, San Francisco-Oakland
vs Miami-Ft. Lauderdale, Detroit vs Atlanta, and so on.
A lot of neat things could be done with the Metro Districts... if we
had Metro Districts. But we don't have them.
If I ran the Federation my way, we'd have a Federation like no other
in the world.. and one you could be proud of.
