While I am less comfortable with preventing those with such
convinctions from running, this is probably worth looking at, too.

I would oppose that requirement. Generally, people who have paid their
debt to society should not be barred from serving USCF (think of George
Steinbrenner).


Isn't there some law or rule that prohibits a felon from serving on the
board of a non- or not-for-profit? I know such things exist for
publicly traded companies, as Martha Stewart can attest to.
