Default Play chess online from your mobile phone on FICS and ICC with free client software

There is now a chess client, Mobi, for FICS (the Free Internet Chess
Server) and ICC (the Internet Chess Club) for mobile phones that
conform to the Java MIDP 2.0 (and maybe for some confirming to the
MIDP 1.0) standard, which all but the most basic phones sold today
implement.

The program is in a stage where it is completed and can be used to
play and observe games on the Free Internet Chess Server and on the
Internet Chess Club. It is, however, only tested on my own Nokia 6230
and on some software emulators, so I would like to have some test
pilots with different phones to see how it behaves (a correctly
written program that conforms to the Java MIDP specifications should
be working correctly on any device, but different devices can behave a
bit different (not always conforming to the standards
themselves)). When I think it is time to release it, it will be
possible to download it for free. You can read more about Mobi and how
to be a test pilot at www.luthman.nu.
