Have all of Fischer's conditions for the 1975 match v Karpov been
published?
I can't seem to find them online - does anyone here have them?
I believe I have all the relevant Chess Life & Reviews from that
time, and that they contain the information, but I'd rather not write
up the whole thing here. What specifically are you looking for?
I am just interested - I don't want to put anyone out.
I have read many various things about the conditions... The number of them
seems to change. Was it 63, 120 or over 400?
I read on a Russian site that Fischer demanded a 1950s car to be driven
around in. That unlikely assertion caused my interest.
Presumably most of them are quite straightforward - about lighting and
noise. It's the unusual ones I'd like to see.
Sorry, I don't think those are reported. IIRC, CL&R reported just the
chess-related conditions: the 10-win requirement, the 9-9 clause,
unlimited duration and such. Nothing about cars or dozens of other
extraneous provisos.
