I have at some times been a defender of Sam Sloan. If he really said this about
Beatriz, it takes my breath away. I don't give a damn about Beatriz' sexual
orientation, and neither should any of us. With Sam's background, I could only
assume that he took the view that anything between consenting adults is OK; to
blast someone else for consensual sexual behavior is really low on his part.

Beatriz is not a notorious lesbian; she may or may not be a lesbian, and I really
don't care, and she certainly has not made an issue of it in the USCF.

Beatriz has nothing to answer for, but Sam certainly has some apologizing to do!
