The loss is in the overall content and readability -- some would say style --
of the magazine or online presentation. A story about a dozen players with
low ratings getting jackets just isn't interesting to 99 percent of the
readers/audience. It is interesting to those dozen families and their friends.
Boy! Eric certainly has not studied the proposal.
The proposal is not about a dozen players with low ratings getting
jackets.
It is about very high rated players who are strong enough to have a
shot at winning the world championship receiving training from Polgar.
Right now, only three US girls are strong enough to qualify for the
program. One of the three is Tatev who tied for the US Woman's
Championship last year and is playing in the US Championship right now
today.
