Anand has been playing @ the highest level for some time now. He
could've been there (world ch.)if it were'nt for the **** attitude of
the mostly olive-hued organisers. My belief is he struggles now from
'burnout' (shame). And what of Micky Adams? never to be heard of again
after his ill-fated joust with 'hydra' tut, tut. There is Aronian
however, just so recently taken to the 'cleaners' by Mr. Kramnik..
Probably Anand is the strongest player right now. I think that his
opponents willingly would see him out of the play on his chess
retirement as Kasparov did recently ;-)
Yeah, well I'm thinking Anand is past his prime by 10 yrs. now. He
really should take a break & let the young guns pull themselves with
gusto everyday. Magnus I haven't got much time for. Aronian _is_ the
coming thing - surely. No?..
However I can see that young chess prodigy Magnus Carlsen has beaten
all of his opponents including Anand in the strongest blitz ever in
Iceland so what about his match against Topa ?
