Default Raymond Weinstein for New York Delegate to the USCF

Raymond Weinstein for New York Delegate to the USCF

This year voters in Downstate New York, that is New York City and Long
Island, get to vote for up to 14 candidates for New York Delegate, but
there are only 13 candidates running.

This means that one write-in candidate will be elected.

I have voted for Raymond Weinstein to fill the empty slot. I hope that
you will vote for him too.

Raymond Weinstein has been a life member of the USCF since he was 18
years old, when he won the US Junior Championship. As an active
tournament player he defeated every top rated grandmaster is the US
with the sole exception of Bobby Fischer. In one of their games, he
seemed to have a winning position against Fischer, but he could only
draw.

Weinstein has defeated, at one time or another, Reshevsky, Benko,
Evans, Robert Byrne and Donald Byrne.

Weinstein is only rated 2415 by the USCF, but that is because ratings
have inflated since he was active. By present standards, his rating
would be about 2550.

Another important factor is the dedication Raymond Weinstein has for
New York State. It so often happens that we elect a delegate and then
he deserts us by moving out of New York State. Raymond Weinstein would
never do that to us. He has the conviction and the dedication never to
leave New York State.

There has long been considerable support for electing Raymond
Weinstein. It has often been said that Raymond Weinstein is the one
man who can clean out the self-dealers who infect the USCF.

A vote for Raymond Weinstein is a vote for Clean Government.

Vote for Raymond Weinstein today.
