Tim Hanke Chess Trivia Game

Several posters have suggested that I am slandering Tim Hanke by
saying that he intends to use his position on the USCF Executive Board
to force the USCF to sell his game in the catalog, even though the
game has not yet been produced and nobody knows whether there will be
a market for it.

With all this talk about Tim Hanke's chess trivia game, has anybody seen or
read the book "Chess Trivia," co-authored by Peter Hotton and Herbert A..
Kenny. The book was published in July 1988 by Quinlan Press in Boston, right
before the U.S. Open at the Lafayette Hotel in Beantown. The book contains more
than 1,500 chess trivia questions (with answers) that would be a challenge to
any serious chess lover. Among those who helped co-authors Hotton and Kenny
with a lot of trivia material was Boston Globe chess columnist Harold Dondis,
of U.S. Chess Trust fame, who is still an active player at age 80. Two other
people who helped were Mr. and Mrs. Paul Heaney of Lamar, Missouri, who
provided innumerable chess clippings.
