I know nothing about BG's personal finances but it seems to me he began his
career as a chess promoter with a lot of money... maybe family money. I don't
think he started small and worked his way up the financial ladder from chess
alone. If he makes $300,000 per year I'd doubt all comes from chess
tournaments. He must have some non-chess investments or business activities.
