To what "theory" do you refer, Rob? And I would agree that Alekhine's
chess work ethic was exemplary, but it was hardly unique.


It seems as though "Rob" is unfamiliar with the
work of Wilhelm Steinitz, among others.

Alekhine's "theory", as it is termed, was simply
that other players played bad moves, requiring
frequent refutation OTB. ;D
