Closed Spanish.

Ra6 30. Rd3

Svidler obviously has some initiative and Moro's bishops are not yet very
active for him - very open prospects in this game.

11. Be3 Nc6 12. Rab1 Rab8 13. a3 Na5 14. b3 h6 15. h3 Rfd8 16. g4

there goes the king-side spike, black is also lacking activity in this
postion, and would like to play d5 with the support of the f knight, which
is about to be dislocated from its perch on f6

Carlsen has the slight advantage of his pieces being more central and
coordinated, and he has constructed the 'Fischer' pawn formation around his
king anticipating an endgame.

White has two bishops against B+N, both sides have 5 pawns. If white's
bishops get active, it will be interesting but the pawns are locked in such
a way that both kings cant penetrate to the other side of the board, unless
something happens on the k side .. i think this game may be drawn.

Standing before this round
Round 6 :
1-3 Ponomariov, Aronian, Leko - 4.0
4-6 Svidler, Gelfand, Mamedyarov - 3.0
7-8 Shirov, Grischuk - 2.5
9-10 Carlsen, Morozevich - 2.0

The relay seems to be iffy this morning. As someone said, maybe okay for
chess but nor for opera.
