Thanks Duncan. I took a look at those and noticed that
there is an older version and a sensor version. While
I accept that less moving parts (sensor) might be
more robust, I tend to trust mechanical switches
more than sensors for longevity. Has there been any
consensus developed as to the preference between
the two models?

I only have experience with the older version. People
I know have had them for years and used them for
blitz chess and the switches seems to hold up fine.
