Default Peterson Lawsuit

Don Mihokovish wrote (2003-08-22 08:13:55 PST):
Although I have not had an opportunity to read the
suit, it is my general understanding that one of
the many counts of the complaint is that Peterson's
USCF affiliate was allegedly denied certain
so-called contractual rights to receive mailing
labels, have TLA's listed, etc.... for a CEA Grand
National Scholastic Chess Championship, which turned
out to be a financial failure, only able to pay out
a fraction of the advertised $60,000 in US Savings
Bond "scholarships" (based on 1000 players).

A Richard Peterson event that turned into a flop?!
Noooooooooo? Really!?
You mean another failure? So that is why he is
suing... Yes, once again it was the fault of
someone else. A genuine professional victim,
the Biblical JOB of the chess world. I think
John Fernandez summed it best: Scumbag

You are a brave man... at a very great distance.
Any time you would care to take it up with me in
person, go for it.
