Perhaps it's that attractive women tend to distract males who lack
sufficient libido control? I remember in the documentary "Chess Kids"
that Josh Waitzkin said that playing against girls and in particular,
Judit Polgar distracted him. He said they made it hard to concentrate
on chess. So perhaps women playing against men is actually an advantage
to the women?

I cant remember names or when (about a year and a half ago i believe)
where there was a tourny where a male player complained that he lost
his game against a female competitor because she wore a low cut
top. Had me laughing for quite awhile .
