Thanks.

Here's a link to a respected insurance provider who advertises it:

http://www.stpaultravelers.com/busin...net_liability/

From that link:

INTERNET LIABILITY / E-COMMERCE
Worldwide e-commerce coverage provides protection against intellectual
property infringement on the Internet including claims alleging
copyright, trademark, trade name, trade dress, and service mark
infringement. The coverage also protects against claims alleging
plagiarism on or through the internet, failure to protect others'
private or confidential information from unauthorized on-line access,
failure to prevent transmission of a computer virus, unauthorized use
of others' advertising material when you advertise for others, and
additional e-commerce risks.

This is very interesting especially because the insurance the USCF paid
$15,000 for was not supposed to be for any of these things.

Our "Internet insurance" which was the subject of a vote on August 14,
2006 was supposed to protect us from lawsuits arising from
"moderation". Suppose just in a purely hypothetical case somebody says
that Candidate X is a member of Mensa and Mr. Y says, "That is a lie
because X is not a member of Mensa." Then Moderator Q fails to delete
the posting by Y and X sues Y, Q and the USCF for allowing Y to post
his statement that X is not a member of Mensa.

Our "Internet insurance" is suppose to protect us from that kind of
suit. However, the insurance plan listed above does not cover that sort
of situation.

In view of this, I would like for somebody to tell us exactly what our
Internet insurance does cover. In other words, what did we pay $15,000
for?

Does this mean I can attack all my political opponents and the
insurance will cover all lawsuits? I need to know. I want to sue Joel
Channing and Bill Goichberg. Leroy Dubeck is willing to finance my
quest.
