I know this is sensational, but it's important for USCF members to see
why Sam's site is driving away potential sponsors. And it's important
for Sam to have a chance to bring his case to the participants in this
forum, as well. Hence this thread.

This is a quote from Sam's own "How to Rape a Woman" page, which
includes colloquy between Sam and email correspondents:

You told me to contact you if he used your guide. Well, you will be
happy to know and also happy that he is getting away with it. He has
been in jail for 3 months because of charges on him. I am not the only
one your "friend" has done this to. Thanks to your guide he will be
going home for x-mas. There was just not enough proof. I am sad to say
that I hope you feel a small bit guilty. You need to realize that what
you have out there is just the thing a pervert needs to really hurt
somebody. I only pray that somebody you love does not go through the
pain that many people have had. I hope you know that you have hurt

Of course, we do not have enough facts to prove beyond a reasonable
doubt that Jessica's story really occurred. The main point of this
thread, though, is the effect that this page, and Jessica's account
posted on it, would have on a potential sponsor. The damage has
already been great, as discussed in another thread. Time for Sam to
clean up his act.

If you don't like looking at this link, imagine how sponsors feel
about our organization when they read this? This is a huge issue that
affects our organization, and for some odd reason, we want to pretend
that it does not exist.

This aint just 'stuff copied from the NY Times' as Mr. Sloan wants to
lead us to believe. These posts were made by someone sitting, and
running for a spot on the EB board, and I am providing proof of this.
We are in election season again, and it is time that we call it like
it is.

Last time the voters and membership of the USCF were "blamed" and
deemed to be responsible for electing Mr. Sloan to office. All that
most knew of Mr. Sloan was his candidate statement published in the
magazine. If the magazine has any value at all, it should editorially
also carry this content to all voters of who they might potentially be
electing. Then we will truly know if USCF membership wants this man on
the EB.

Chris, the problem is your post isn't going to get him to change a
thing. It's also not going to reach enough voters to really have an
impact. But hey, at least now we don't have to worry about a sponsor
finding it on Sam's site....they can find it right here on the forum.

1. Sponsors do not have access to this forum. They do, however, have
unfettered access to Sam's website. Without any help from this forum,
several sponsors have already discovered Sam's website and have nixed
potential sponsorships as a result. The horse is out of the barn...

2. Where else are members supposed to discuss these important but
sensitive issues?

3. Hundreds of members participate in this forum. Participants are
more likely to vote than non-participants. If I can persuade even a
couple dozen voters, that *might* make a big difference at election-
time. I'm willing to make the effort.

4. Who knows what Sam will decide to do? I'm not holding my breath,
but one can always hope.
