Per Sloan, "the USCF President is not allowed to act, is not allowed to do anything, without a vote by the board," but other Board members are free to use their fiduciary position to boast of sexual relations with minors.

One point that I think has not been sufficiently addressed is that the
USCF President is not allowed to act, is not allowed to do anything,
without a vote by the board.
Prior to writing a letter to legal counsel asking how to get rid of
Sam Sloan, Bill Goichberg was required to notify the other board
members and seek their advice and permission.
Bill Goichberg did not do that. He wrote five letters to Attorney
Michael Matsler without asking or even notifying the other board
members. I am reasonably certain that the board would not have
approved these letters had Bill Goichberg asked them.
Therefore, Bill Goichberg should pay the legal fees of the lawyer.
Sam Sloan
