The tournament has begun! Already we have someone in the win column.
This was between the two highest rated players in the tournament!
WOW!

Now there are two results in the win column, a 14 mover and an 18 mover -
both of some theoretical interest.

OTOH I am in dreadful trouble against a 1700 player and will be lucky to
survive, and Angelo and Inconnux continue to be tough as nails - and even
the Navy have come out of harbour with a girt-great battleship firing
broadsides at poor little me! Someone called Zed One is refusing to cave
in
or sacrifice unwisely and keeps asking me if I've been to Europe and to
play
more or less complicated moves. Woe! Woe! its so hard to get ahead!

Heavy snow here with 40mph winds making for a nice little white-out
blizzard, couple feet or three by tomorrow morning, may lose power, mind,
etc.

Cordially, Snow White.

This has been, and still is, a great contest. Hopefully I can do
better than a last place finish as I did in the previous one. I have
blundered badly In at least four games. Now if I can just find some
"pity" maybe I can at least get a draw somewhere.

Rob

Don't worry, im sure I will beat you for last place :/ not playing all that
well.
