As expected, Dowd backed right down and never showed up. I waited more
than an hour. For the few that didn't already know, there's now even
more proof that Dowd is a BS'ing little coward with a bark and no bite.

been playing on playchess inbetween looking at the newsgroup messages.
When I said play, I didn't mean that instant - I meant set up a date
to play. I don't sit in the newsgroup, waiting to insult people. If
you want to set up a future date to play, you have my email address;
feel free to use it should you really care to play some games - but I
suspect you are simply interested in verbal abuse, in which case,
continue on. I'm not too worried about your multiple opinions of me.

You used this same ploy on someone else, claiming they never showed
up, when they were waiting for you on the server. I suspect this
behavior will continue.
