cbh cbv cbf of chessbase?
what is the diffrence between them?
cbh must be its new format.
But, when i downloaded a file
from
http://www.chesscenter.com/twic/twic.html
Games in New ChessBase format (CB6 onwards)
its format is cbv, not cbh.
I can't figure it out.
cbf is the old format, cbh the new format. cbv is an archived database. A
database consists of many files, like cbh (the headers) cba (annotations)
ck* (keys) etc. When you archive them, one cbv file will be the result.

I found out they are not text files.
Are their specifications available?
dajava,
..cbf and .cbi file specifications, as well as the specs for old
fritzbook .fbk files, are located at:
http://www.wotsit.org/download.asp?f=cbu_src
..cbi files are index files for .cbf databases. As far as I know, the
other file formats are still proprietary and undocumented.
