Hrm. I have Sigmachess 6.0.

"Branch game" in 6.0 creates two separate game files. It's not simple or
intuitive to explore multiple variations in this fashion and keep a
record of what you've done. You end up with a mess of different boards.
It's really almost useless for the seriously player.
