You don't quite get it. I'm condemning spurious arguments on the part
of those who oppose letting Motterhead's accusations play out. If,
upon examination, the person Motterhead suspects is cleared of
suspicion, what "vindication" would be left for me -- my opinion would
be irrelevant, and vindication would not imply anything meritorious --
just that he didn't do it.
