With a draw today Gata Kamsky defeats Shirov 2.5-1.5 to win the World
Cup.He will go on to face Veselin Topalov which should prove to be a
tough Match.So now we have chess's version of the "Final Four".At some
point the Topalov-Kamsky winner will square off with the Anand-Kramnik
winner.I condider Anand at this point to be the Undisputed World
Champion !Congrats to Kamsky with this victory.Sometimes I tend to
forget how strong he was years ago.He has scored Match victories
againt both Anand and Kramnik.Now that he has worked on his openings
it appears he can play with anyone.
