The other programs on this list are believed to actually hire and pay
teachers who are sent out to a network of schools who have contracted
for their services. Examples are Dean Ippolito's school in New Jersey
and, I believe, Sophia Rohde's school in New York, plus Chess-in-the-
Schools.
Simply faxing the "Polgar curriculum" for free to a school district
should not count. The real issues here are that the programs that
receive this "endorsement" claim the right to have a banner ad posted
on the uschess website and this was the outcome of the "retreat" by
insiders to Florida in 2006.
