Not every engine on this site can play at expert level. Others can
play stronger, but can't be "dumbed down" to expert level.

All of the above is for Winboard engines. There is another chess
engine communication protocol called UCI, which I am not very familiar
with. A little bit of googling should give you similar sites as the
ones above, but dedicated to UCI engines.
