Default Who testified for Sherzer's behalf???

I wonder if anyone asked Judit why Alex didn't stop the correspondance

once the
emails became sexual? I wonder if she knows why? I wonder if the chess
community can explain why he didn't stop the correspondance and simply not

make
the trip? It would SEEM that the chess community is sympathetic to Alex,

but if
he is so innocent in all of this, then he WOULD have stopped the

correspondance
IMMEDIATELY when the correspondance turned sexual. It's that simple.

I wonder, what part of entrapment don't you understand? The e-mails did not
become sexual until after a trained investigator [ trained in the art of
encouraging behavior that probably would not have occured without such
encouragement ] took over for "Jane Doe". If the investigator had not become
so directly involved, but had rather just observed the continuing exchange
of e-mails between "Jane Doe" and Alex Sherzer, and then had arrested him,
if a sexual encounter was about to take place, I would not see a problem.
Just because a person can be tempted, coaxed, and encouraged to do something
illegal, doesn't mean that law enforcement should use that tactic. Did Alex
make an error in judgement? You're damn right he did. Haven't we all?
