I would agree. Another factor is that Alex has no history of other such
behavior. If he had, I don't think he would have stood a chance. Also, if
the girl had been much younger, I think he would have been convicted. All

No history? How do you come to that conclusion? He admitted it! It
is what kept him out of prison. Alex knew he was a dead duck and so
threw himself on the mercy of the court. This is the first time he
got caught if that is what your saying. The real struggle for Alex
his whole life is topsy-turvey and all he can do is try to get at
least a portion of his life back. You can tell by some posters here
that they don't look at Alex the same way as before.
