Default Buying a chess set in London

I bought a £500 set from the London chess and bridge centre, its on Euston
road, a few hundred yards further down from Madame Tussauds (and on the
opposite side of the road)
They have a website

I'm going to be in London for a few hours next week (I live in a
small town in the North) and would like to buy a good wooden chess
set there. Which places would you recommend? Preferrably not too
far from the city centre.
Thanks,

Marco

Hi Marco,

I live in a small town in Northumberland.

I assume that you will be taking the train to either King's Cross or St.
Pancras.

If you do that, your best bet is probably the London Chess Centre on

Euston
Road, beyond Euston and Warren Street tube stations. The nearest tube is

Great
Portland Street.

Alternatively, if you'll be arriving by coach at Victoria Coach Station,

you
may prefer to visit the BCM Chess Shop at 44 Baker St., W1U 7RT.

Have fun!

Mark
