Default Pasting Chessbase Diagrams into Word

Eric HIcks wrote in rec.games.chess.misc:

Can anyone help me...I would greatly appreciate it.

I am trying to paste diagrams from chessbase into word, and I cannot
figure out how to paste diagrams with the black pieces facing you. I
want to do it this way so when it is black to move it is easier to see.

DOes anyone know a solution?

There are two ways to accomplish this. I assume you use ChessBase 8.

You can create a RTF file, and open it in word / and save it.
Put the diagrams in the game where you want them, save the game, right
click on it in the game list, and choose output text file rtf. Click on
the rtf-tab and check "flip diagrams". Now save the whole bunch and open
your RTF-file with Word.

You can also create a page as html, and use the resulting JPG's to paste
in your word document.
In that case you must again indicate a diagram with each move you want a
diagram of, save the game, right click on the game, choose output text
file html and check in the html-tab options the option "flip diagrams".
Now output and your diagrams are flipped with white on top.
