Default Board against Board, History?

"Phil Innes" wrote in message ...
In 1999 the Russian Federation Board Members challenged the USCF Board to a
match which was, erm, declined. Now, three and a half years later, the
gauntlet has been returned by a representative of the current board in
proper Greek style.

ROFL!!!@

Why did I ever get involved in this ?

For serious chess historians, has there ever been a match between two
national boards governing chess, or are we making history here?

Of course, this is a great broadcast opportunity if neither side chickens
out - we are currently comparing ELOs.

Cordially, Phil innes

Here's some history on Phil Innes. A year ago he wrote:

The FBI are monitoring this thread [and others] because of of a certain
incidence of Neil Brennen's abuse stimulating much more acuitous ones from
anons. The particular threas that you continue to initiate or make
contributrions to, then participate in by suggestive abuse, involve actions
against female members of my family.

Nice Mr. Frank Niro posted my home address in front of a rascist stalker,
just before the USCF hoo-hah about Fischer's rascism. This is the truth
which Brennen once regretted crocodile tears but now he thinks he is safe
to gloss over!

The FBI will possibly in touch with you Brennen; for your own expressions
seem to inexplicably engender abuse of others (not only myself). But for
myself, I simply offer you the reflection that their are sharper things than
wit.

And if you **** with me and mine I will certainly make entirely sure you
understand me without a shadow of a doubt. I am possibly over my
petit-fascist tolerancing line.

Is this sufficiently clear?
