- I'm sure this must have been thought of before, but wouldn't it be
interesting to hook up thousands of computers globally to play
kasparov (or kramnik etc) ?

this distributed network would have to work 'grid style' to divide the
searching, and would require some coding to coordinate work, but just
think...the world's computing power vs man....
