Default globally distributed computing Vs kasparov

In article ,
says...
hi all -
- I'm sure this must have been thought of before, but wouldn't it be
interesting to hook up thousands of computers globally to play
kasparov (or kramnik etc) ?

this distributed network would have to work 'grid style' to divide the
searching, and would require some coding to coordinate work, but just
think...the world's computing power vs man....

Oliver.

I think there is already a computer project like that --

But to make it fair, Kasparov should be able to form his own "network"
of GMs!
