Why is everything always the fault of Kasparov?
Most likely they didn't get to a financial agreement, or Anand doesn't have
the time to play there or something.
It would surprise me if he wasn't invited, he probably just refused..
And your claim that Kasparov is afraid of Anand is not very likely too,
cause Kasparovs record in games against Anand is pretty impressive.
I think the last time Anand has beaten Kasparov was in 1995!

If Anand doesn't go...I sure hope someone has the good sense to offer an
invitation to GM Judit Polgar! I would DEARLY love to see a Kasparov vs
Polgar rematch. The last time they played against each other was that
controversial one in 1994 when Kasparov moved the wrong knight. I'm sure
GM Polgar has a long memory.
