Yes. But the Pelikan tempts white to adventure, and the late move Qc2 must
have been completely overlooked by Leko who had also jammed his Queen at h3,
nevermind Rad7.

I notice that KRCH advertises on the Kramnik site 28.01.2004. The Swiss
tobacco company Dannemann has just announced that the Classical Chess World
Championship between Vladimir Kramnik and Peter Leko
will be staged from September 25 to October 18, at a still to be disclosed
location.

If you have the patience to penetrate the tobacco company's website, please
post more details here. It is rather remarkable that Leko has been chosen
instead of Pono, Kasparov or Anand, but I suppose Fide will offer us an
explanation in a month or three.

What actually qualifies Peter Leko in front of these other claimants?
