How do you go about creating chess diagrams in a Word
document?

1. Throw Wintel machine off a cliff.
2. Get a Macintosh.
3. Download ChessWriter at
http://www.vaz1.net/bill/chess/ChessWriter/index.html.

ChessWriter enables one to drag and drop pieces to an empty board to make
a diagram, or mouse in a gamescore from the first move and then there is a
"copy board" menu item for copying the position to the Clipboard, or
"insert diagram", after which the diagram can be copied and pasted.

It looks like a great resource! Can you run it with System 10? And can you
export to Acrobat? eg.

Cordially, Phil

I edited the California Chess Journal for three years, and have written a
book with ChessWriter. It is the killer application for chess authors and
journalists.
