I've been checking ChessGenius, ChessTiger and Hiarcs. They all look
very good but I don't know really which one is the best to improve in
chess.
I'm not really interested in how strong they are, since all of them
will beat me. What I want is to play good chess, learn a bit and have
a good time.
Any suggestions based in your experience?
Thank you!
I just got a PDA and chess software.
For the price and performance I think that Chess Genius is a good
choice. You can evaluate it as a Demo for free.
I ended up buying a Dell Axim 30 rather than a Palm Pilot because I
got the impression that Mobile Windows interchanged generic files with
Desktops more easily than Palm Pilots do.
You can get a Dell AXIM starting at $199.
Chess Genius looks really sharp on the 3.5" QVGA TFT screen.
I bought mine for chess training on the go, but have found the PDA to
be very useful when it comes for listening to MP3s and reading
downloaded pages or even full length books in HTML format.
In fact you can do just about everything most people use their laptops
for with one of these things.
