Well, I have the account info and I have gone over the procedures for
broadcasting on ICC so I think I am ready to go. If the players are not disturbed by my typing, I will try to provide additional observations about what is going on at the board. If either of them object to the typing, I will limit myself to inputting the moves. Vince Hart |

It would be nice if I could do a dry run so I'm not trying to figure it out as the game starts. I do play at ICC so I have some familiarity. You should try to have another person entering the ICC moves. You can deputize that person to watch player A while you accompany player B to the restroom. You wouldn't want anyone pulling an extra queen out of his sleeve while the opponent and arbiter are away. But if it's player A's move and his clock is running, he should be allowed to ponder at the board, not leave with B and the arbiter. It would be great if there were an assistant arbiter available, although entering the moves on ICC is simply a matter of pointing and clicking so I don't think that will be too much of a burden. If it becomes necessary for the non-peeing player to accompany the peeing player on his bathroom breaks, I suppose I would stop the clocks until they both got back. Vince Hart |

In most sane chess events, players are allowed to pee unassisted. Since this event is insane and peeing players must be accompanied, those exact same considerations should also require the non-peeing player to be accompanied one way or another. |
