Ed Labate vs. Ed Trice by samsloan
Things are really heating up and it is going to be interesting as Ed Labate and Ed Trice threaten each other. I do not know either of them so I have no opinion as to who is right, but Ed Labate has been involved in chess both as a book seller and as a tournament organizer for at least 40 years whereas Ed Trice is a recently arrived huxter, so I am inclined to believe that Ed Labate is right and...

Neil Brennen's claim to fame by samsloan
Neil Brennen's claim to fame is that he invented the term "Trollgar" which has been widely copied and is almost universally accepted. Now, will you stop changing the title to these threads. Note that I have changed the title. It used to be "Neil Brennen's claim to fame." I have changed it to Neil Brennen's claim to fame (no dot.)

http://www.anusha.com/2thedelegates.pdf Reasons for the Petition to Recall Bill Goichberg from the USCF Executive Board To the USCF Delegates and Alternates: Nobody campaigned harder than I did to make Bill Goichberg the USCF President. Goichberg wanted to be USCF President for many decades and I felt that he deserved the chance. However, now, Bill Goichberg has

Amazing Polgar Gripe and a Repeat of History by samsloan
Amazing Polgar Gripe and a Repeat of History There is an amazing new development over on the Polgar censored discussion group. Suddenly, Susan Polgar is saying that she wants to be sent to Beijing China to represent the US in the World Mind Games Championship. http://www.chessdiscussion.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=1362 The reason this is astounding is that Polgar is not on the top-50

Abusive Remarks and New Controversy on Susan Polgar Blogspot by samsloan
Abusive Remarks and New Controversy on Susan Polgar Blogspot The following was posted on the Susan Polgar blogspot before 9:00 PM yesterday and is still there more than 14 hours later. Since Susan instantly deletes anything she does not like, it is clear that she approves these messages. The second is especially objectionable because it impersonates my daughter Shamema Honzagool. I am sure...

Beat by a Computer on eBay by samsloan
Beat by a Computer on eBay Boy am I really ****ed off. I have been trying to buy a particular edition of a book for a year. Finally I saw one listed on eBay. So, on July 8, 2008 I placed a most generous bid of $150.03 for the book. The book is Bobby Fischer's Games of Chess, published by Simon & Schuster. The auction was expiring just now, at Jul-15-08 15:57:30 PDT.

GetClub improved by 30% today. by Sanny
GetClub will play 30% stronger moves. So it will be a lot of challenge to win the Beginner Level. Now Beginner Level will not be as easy as it used to earlier. A lot of tough competition at GetClub. Heres a game against Jester with GetClub Beginner Level. Game was equal till 40 moves but later GetClub lost a Rook for Knight and pawn. Game Played between sanjay11 and beginner at GetClub.com

Why I hate Edward Lasker by samsloan
Why I hate Edward Lasker The Flea House, the commonly known name for The Chess and Checker Club of New York, which was next to the New Amsterdam Theater on 42nd Street near the south-west corner with Broadway, closed in about 1970, although nobody can remember exactly when, and then the main chess scene moved up to Charlie Hidalgo's Chess House on 72nd Street between Broadway and Columbus on the...

1. e4 c5 2. Bc4??? What to do with it? by Sanny
Help Bot (White) Played: 1. e4 c5 2. Bc4 there is no opening after that. Help Bot win the game by trapping a Knight with his Bishop. I went to search for this line and found only people with low rating play Bc4. Higher Rated (2700+) player never play Bc4 Why? What was wrong with easy Level that it has to lose the Knight? Can you mark the wrong moves?

I will try this again. What I am trying to do is separate all these different discussions. Now, what is my "Delicate Sense of Timing". I put in an extra blank space into the title between of and Timing.

Halloween Gambit: 1.e4 e5 2.Nf3 Nc6 3.Nc3 Nf6 4.Nxe5?! Nxe5 by Sanny
Halloween Gambit: 1.e4 e5 2.Nf3 Nc6 3.Nc3 Nf6 4.Nxe5?! Nxe5 I taught this gambit as the opening and Easy Level lost a knight for a Pawn and lost the match to Chrisf. Is this opening good enough or I should remove this Opening from GetClubs Book? As giving a knight for a pawn is no good.
