Dorfmans's move search algorithm:
1) Find a critical position (a turning point in the play, a moment when there is a possible change in the hierarchy of strategic elements 2) Draw up the static balance of this position, allowing it to be decided who in the following phase should use a static move, and who uses a dynamic move 3) Consider the candidate moves and choose a specific move. When one is behind in material or has an inferior position, he must make a dynamic move that upsets the equilibrium. In evaluating the static balance, one considers square control. A new automated Chess Mover shows both the Chessboard and the "Control-Board". The latter is color coded based on the number of times pieces control a particular square. For the source of this revolutionary mover, see: https://www.storesonline.com/site/chessmover |
