it seems both Bc4 and d5 are good moves :

1.Bc4 0-0-0 is very bad for black:
instead of 5.Nf2 White can safely capture 5.Qxa7 Qf3 6.Qxb7+ Kd8

Bxf1 or f5 are the only "solid" replies to 1.Bc4


as with 1.d5 have a look at Rd8 as reply.

as with 1.d5 have a look at Rd8 as reply.

yes i missed this one. White loses his advantage in this case. Then 1. Bc4
is the right move.
