Default Diary Problem 26 (novice+advanced)

r1bq1rk1/1p1n1pbp/p1n1p1p1/4P3/N1pB4/P4N1P/1PP2PP1/R2QR1K1 b - - 0 1

Black to play.

Depending on your rating there are two solutions.
As far as I'm concerned, both are correct, as both follow the same basic
line (or weakness of white.)

Have fun,
Fernando

Yes

r1bq1rk1/1p3pbp/p1nppnp1/2p5/2B1P3/P1NPBN1P/1PP2PP1/R2QR1K1 b - - 0 10
10... d5 11.d4 cxd4 12.Bxd4 dxc4 13.e5 Nd7 14.Na4

You can make your own conclusion. Notice that d5 is not that daring.

Best regards,
Fernando

ok but i can't find where black are best :

[Date "????.??.??"]

1... d5 2. Bg5 dxc4 3. e5 Nxe5 4. Nxe5 Qc7 5. Bf4 Qd8 (5... Rd8 6. Qf3 Rd4 (
6... Nd5 7. Nxd5 Rxd5 8. Nxg6 Qd8 9. dxc4) (6... Nh5 7. Bh2 Bxe5 8. Bxe5 Qe7

I'm sorry, you are right. I figured that the discovered double attack could
be countered with the simple Rd8.

1... d5 is a blunder, and a big one too.

Best regards,
Fernando
