Default Petrov's defense

I was studying the Petrov's defense and found that after 1.e4 e5 2.Nf3
Nf6 3.Nxe5 Nxe4 4.Qe2 Be7, you can let
the white queen take the knight and still have good chances to beat
white.

5. Qxe4 d5

6. Qf3 0-0 (castle)

Black is a piece down for nothing. White wins.

Could it be that you are one of Sanny's programmers at GetClub? (That
would explain a lot.)

Default Petrov's defense

Game ten of the I990 Kasp vs Karp championship game they played the
Petrov's..

I posted all the openings on the computer discussion , i should have did
it here but go look

Here is what some of it says about game ten

Kasp was sceptical about the strength of Karpovs 8th move , innovation
in the Petoff , perhaps this is why he did not look for refutation of
black's idea spending only ten minutes . On the other hand after
Karpov eleventh move Gerry thought for 37 minutes and as he himself
soon realised , this move was merely a waste of time .This factor
naturally affected the world champs mood , and yet the main reason why
as early as move I8 and still with the better position , ( this was
evaluation after the game) , Kasp offered the draw ..Karpov readily
accepted it , they were both tired after the two exhausting previous
games..

Here are the moves to the game
Kasp white , Karp back..

I. E-4 - E-5
2. Knight to F-3-- Knight to F-6
3 . pawn D-4 -- Pawn E-x D-4
4. Pawn E-5 - --Knight E-4
5.Queen x D-4 -- D-5 pawn
6. E-x D-6 -- Knight x D-6
7. Knight C-3 -- Knight C-6
8. Queen F-4 --Knight F-5 ( question mark )
9. Bishop B-5-- Bishop to D-6
I0. Queen E-4 -- Queen E-7
II. Bishop G-5 --F-6
I2. Bishop D-2-- Bishop D-7
I3.0-0-0 ----- Queen x E-4
I4 . Knight x E-4 ---- bishop E-7
I5. G-4 --- A-6
I6 . Bishop C-4 -- Knight D-6
I7 . Knight x D-6 check -- Bishop x D-6
I8. Rook D-E-I check-- Draw agreed..

i hope i did those moves right for you ..
