Default My Games from the National Chess Congress

I should not let anyone know about this game because I will never live this down. But I cannot bear to give up the notoriety. My opponent was a 14-year-old girl from Belarus with a rating of 2030. I had decided to give up my Damiano's Defense because I have lost almost every game with it recently, as my opponents have been preparing for it. However, I figured that a 14-year-old girl would not know about me and would not be prepared so I decided to try it.

Indeed, she played quickly but differently than anybody I had seen before.

I thought I was surviving until she came up with a fantastic queen sacrifice with 10.Ne5

Shredder rates it a decisive advantage for Black +6.0 and gives 10. ... Bxd1.

However, Shredder does not see 10. ... Bxd1 11. Nf6+ gxf6 12. Bf7# checkmate.

I saw it and finally decided my best chance for survival was 10. ... Be6, only to fall into another checkmate two moves later.
