you must have its record still)?
Those with Chess Playing Programming know-how might want to check this out

Books on the Catalan ? by
Peter Billam
Greetings. What are the best books on the Catalan ? I know of, but don't have:
Winning with the Catalan, Dunnington, Batsford
Katalanisch, Raetzki, Kania
Any others? I speak German, so Kania is fine for me from that point of view.
It's not just because of the current "1.d4 d5 2.c4 e6 3.g3 Nf6" tournament

Gambits by
Rik
Is it any good to play the Nordic (Danish?) Gambit , which i think goes: e4
e5, d4 exd4, c3 dxc3, Bc4 cxb2, Bxb2 ? Anyone familiar with it, can it be
played at any level or is it easy to refute?
Also, how about the Goering Gambit in the Scotch Game?
Thanks,
Rik

take the lead in the tournament. It's an interesting game. Has anybody
analysed the soundness of this attack ?

The web page hasn't been updated since before the tournament began, and
