a game amongst 2 weaker opponents by vampke

I was particularly proud of move 26 which is one easily missed for people on my level :-) I tried to quote my thoughts, I'd appreciate some feedback on this. I'm white, here it goes:

Software/Database for studing by R Alford
I am attempting to move beyond patzer class and have collected several interesting books I am reading/studying. My question is how best to study a book? Using computer software should make it easier to follow games and variations. I would really appreciate suggestions on how to manage the learning process? It is nontrivial to enter the moves, variations and comments and, if possible, I would...

Maytag Store, Wilkes-Barre, Pa. Rt. 309 by Fatboy Jr.
To anyone from the northeastern part of Pa., in the town of Wilkes-Barre, a message (non Pontiac oriented) BEWARE- AVOID the Maytag appliance store on Rt. 309 by Home Depot, in Wilkes-Barre. The guy that owns it is a major jerk, he talked me into a $110 gas flow valve for my Magic Chef stove, and then refused to take it back when that was not the problem. I had to spend another $75 online to...

"Kasparov vs. Kasimdzhanov & Elo" match by SteveBest
Let's imagine that "Kasparov vs. Kasimdzhanov" starts tomorrow. What can we expect from this match, according to current ELO ratings of these players? Kasparov has a rating of 2804, Kasimdzhanov has 2678. Expected performance of a stronger player (we all know his name) is 67,3%. Therefore, in a match of 14 games (just like Kramnik and Leko played) Kasparov should score 9,43 points, which means...

Sicilian Grand Prix Attack by richardstanz@msn.com
After 1. e4 c5 2. Nc3 Nc6 3. f4 g6 4. Nf3 Bg7 5. Bc4 e6 6. f5 the book move is 6..Nge7. I forgot my theory and bashed out 6..d5, a move which I've been unable to find in any of my general opening references. Can anyone find anything wrong with it? The game went 7. exd5 exd5 8. Nxd5 Bxf5 (8..b5 is interesting) and Black was fine. At the time, I was worried about 7. fxe6 dxc4 8. exf7+ Kxf7,...
