I'd like to adjust playing strength in Fritz 5.32 closer to my level,
about 1100. How do I do it?

I use Fritz 5-32.eng in various chessbase user interfaces, including
Fritz itself, Junior and Hiarcs. There doesn't seem to be any way to
adjust playing strength in these routines.

The only *.exe file is Fritz32.exe, which is the Fritz interface
itself. There is a file called F5.INI, which allows setting of
parameters and playing strength, but I can't figure out how to
implement it.

I can't use a more recent version of Fritz because my computer runs
Windows NT and that platform isn't supported.

Problem solved. The user interfaces Junior 8, Hiarcs 8 and Fritz 5.32
each has set levelhandicap which includes the setting of the e.l.o.
playing strength.
