Default training software

Most posters agree that CTArt2 is a great training aid, and I have
heartily recommended it.

Last week, seeing the positive comments on Personal Chess Trainer, I
downloaded the demo and trained with it. I liked it and paid for the
full program.

At first sight, the early modules look simple, but they gradually
build up to more complex tests. Although I have not yet had the
opportunity to see if it actually improves my chess, I think the
training method based on repetition is very good.I do 15-30 minutes on
most days, but it will take a while before I get to the really advanced
stuff. But I was surprised to see some motifs show up that I don't
recall notining before.

One nice thing is that the training is relaxing, but keeps you active.
The problem with DVD lectures is that I tend to fall asleep during the
lectures, not to mention forgetting most of it by the next day...

The demo can get you pretty far into the training, so I recommend that
you try it if you are not sure it is for you.

Have done a google search for this trainer but cannot find any reference for
it.
Does anyone know the web address where I can download from.
Thanks for any help.

Hopefully this program does a better job in teaching chess than the math
teacher of the author(s) did his task. Please have a look at the image

Hi Peter:

I can't read German... so I'm not sure what the responses/comments were.
You said something like: 6 X 51 X90= 27540. The program doesn't claim that
there are more than 27,000 different problems to solve (just the opposite).
It is very easy to tell that some of the problems are repeated in the Units.
You have to solve the same problem in different units several times before
the program will say that you have mastered them. The math makes sense to
me.. you just misunderstood the program and its teaching methods.

The home page states: "the exercises are repeated in a regular space of
time, and subsequently faster and faster, until they are permanently printed
into your memory. We also believe that practice leads to perfection."

Matthew
P.S. I have tried most of the different software training products and I
personally think this one is the best!
