For end-game .emd table files there's code that can be adapted so that your
program can interface with the info in an .emd file. You have a position, you want to know what the .emd end-game file says about it, and the available code helps you "probe" or read into the .emd file to find the applicable info for that position. What I'm asking is if anyone knows where (or if) there's code available that does the similar thing for a Fritz .ctg opening tree file. With an opening position, you'd probe using the code to find a table of info on the candidate moves for that position, like the table of info Fritz displays in the Book pane. If not for .ctg files, how about code to probe into Rebel EOC tree files? thanks, Bruce |
