Free HIARCS?
Hi,
From http://www.hiarcs.com/pc_chess_hiarcs.htm "Free Hiarcs X50 chess engine in UCI form. This engine is the strongest ever HIARCS chess engine made available to the public." --------------------------------------------------------------------------- I guess that there are Hiarcs engines as free downloads. But, I cannot find any of them. Any comments? dajava,

I hardly can call it a free chess engine. dajava, It is free in the sense, that you buy Hiarcs 10 UCI. That's what you buy. But when you buy, you get X50 for free. Normal practise when giving an offer in shops, but not yet in the computerchess world: Buy something and get something in addition. Buy a chessprogram from Chessbase, and get GUI which probably already have, and 1 engine (with exceptions). I'm sorry for you, that there's no free download. I surely found Hiarcs 10 UCI - with Hiarcs X50 UCI - worth the money
